1. Statutory Rights & Bespoke Purchases:

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations of the United Kingdom, customers possess the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the items. However, this right does not extend to bespoke or customised items, which have been tailored to the individual's specifications. Number plates fall into this category of bespoke purchases and thus are exempt from the standard return provisions. The nature of the product, being personalised and tailored to individual specifications, means it cannot be resold, making returns neither required nor possible under UK consumer law.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Number Plates:

If a customer receives a number plate that is either damaged or not as specified in the order, it is imperative to notify Utopia Plates immediately. Such items must be returned to Utopia Plates within 14 days of receipt to be eligible for an exchange or refund.

3. Private Registration Returns:

Private registrations, due to their bespoke nature, are non-returnable. In instances where a customer desires to cancel an order for a private registration, it is crucial to contact Utopia Plates as soon as possible, ideally within 30 minutes of order placement. If a cancellation request comes in later than the stipulated 30 minutes, Utopia Plates, while committed to customer satisfaction, cannot guarantee that the cancellation can be processed.

4. Returns of Accessories and Other Non-Personalised Products:

For products that are not personalised, such as accessories, customers must notify Utopia Plates within 14 days of receiving the items if they wish to return them. Following this notification, a 14-day window is provided for the physical return of the items. If, however, the item is found to be damaged due to the actions of the customer or any third party, Utopia Plates reserves the right to use its discretion in determining the validity of the return.

5. Cancellation Fees for Private Registrations and Number Plates:

For certain transactions involving private registrations and number plates, a cancellation fee may be applicable.
